Terms of Use & License Agreement

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Planty: Clipboard & Screenshot ("the Application", "Planty"), developed by Komsan J. / sunson ("Developer", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement ("EULA") and Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Application. Where applicable, this agreement supplements Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA") provided by Apple Inc.

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, the Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Planty on macOS devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service. You may use Planty for personal, educational, and commercial productivity workflows. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works of the Application, except to the extent that applicable law prohibits such restrictions.

Planty offers an optional one-time In-App Purchase ("Planty Lifetime Pro") to unlock advanced capabilities, including unlimited paste stacks, rich text transformation tools, and premium customization options. • Processing: All in-app purchase transactions are processed exclusively through Apple's StoreKit 2 and your Apple Account. The Developer never receives, stores, or accesses your payment card credentials or billing information. • Lifetime Access: A Lifetime Pro purchase grants you permanent access to all current Pro features and future non-major updates without recurring subscription fees. • Family Sharing: Where permitted by Apple App Store policies, Lifetime Pro purchases may be shared with members of your Apple Family Sharing group. • Refunds: Because financial transactions are handled directly by Apple Inc., refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com in accordance with Apple's refund policies.

Planty operates with an absolute commitment to user privacy: • 100% On-Device: All clipboard clippings, captured screenshots, quick notes, and preferences are stored exclusively on your local Mac disk (~/Library/Application Support/planty/). • Zero Telemetry: Planty contains no remote analytics SDKs, advertising trackers, third-party monitoring, or server synchronization. • Password Safeguards: Planty actively filters out concealed pasteboard types and ignores credentials copied from password managers such as 1Password, Bitwarden, Apple Passwords / Keychain, and KeePass. Planty requests macOS Accessibility permissions solely to perform automated keyboard paste simulation (CGEvent ⌘V) into your currently active application when you choose an item from history. Planty does NOT monitor, record, or intercept background keystrokes, does not install event taps for keylogging, and functions strictly as a local productivity utility. Granting Accessibility permissions is entirely optional; without it, Planty will place selected clippings onto the system pasteboard for manual pasting.

Planty is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. While the Developer takes extensive care to ensure stability and reliability, we do not warrant that the operation of the Application will be completely uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all third-party software applications.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or system failure, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use Planty, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In any case, the Developer's aggregate liability under this agreement shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you for the Application through the Mac App Store.

This Agreement remains in effect until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and delete all copies from your devices. The Developer reserves the right to modify these Terms to reflect changes in software features, legal requirements, or platform policies. Updated terms will be posted at https://sunson.dev/product/planty/terms/ with a revised effective date.
